Tarah’s education and experience in nutrition might lead you to believe she’d spend her career in a research lab, solving the world’s biggest nutrition challenges. After working in clinical research at Stanford and completing her clinical training at Cornell, that’s what she thought she wanted, too.
But something didn’t click for her under those fluorescent lights. Tarah felt more at home outside, standing on a mountain top, exploring a redwood forest, or chasing the sunset down a glowing city street than she did in a cubicle or hospital.
She also found herself thinking back to her days as a swim coach and how powerful it felt to help others discover what they were capable of. She began wondering how she could combine her passions for nutrition science, movement, and coaching into a meaningful career. And that’s exactly what she did.
After Stanford, Tarah opened her private practice and began coaching athletes and active individuals of all kinds. She has worked with tennis players, marathoners, cyclists, triathletes, football players, HYROX athletes, weekend warriors, and more.
She's watched too many smart, motivated people get derailed by advice that doesn't account for travel, busy seasons, family dinners, or the simple fact that food is supposed to be enjoyable.
Tarah specializes in body composition and endurance sports nutrition, two areas in which she has both professional expertise and personal experience. Her approach is centered on making nutrition practical, manageable, and realistic for each athlete’s life. She believes nutrition should enhance and enrich your life, not add more stress or negativity to it.
Today, as both a nutrition coach and a competitive endurance athlete, Tarah bridges the gap between clinical science and everyday life. She helps her clients use nutrition to feel stronger, perform better, and build sustainable resilience for the long haul.
We rely on proven nutritional science rather than passing trends. Every recommendation provided is grounded in rigorous research and clinical facts.
Your plan accounts for travel, busy seasons, and family dinners. If a strategy doesn't fit your daily reality, it isn't the right strategy for you.
We work as a team to uncover what feels best for your body. You are the expert on your life, and we are the experts on the science.
Nutrition should enhance your energy and physical output while remaining entirely sustainable. You can achieve high performance without burning out.
True health is never found in rigid rules or eliminating the foods you love. We focus on balanced inclusion rather than restrictive elimination.
Knowing what to eat is only half the battle; knowing how to execute it matters more. We focus on building realistic habits that stick long-term.

Tarah doesn't just understand endurance nutrition in theory—she lives it. As a competitive marathon and ultramarathon runner, she knows firsthand what it takes to fuel a body through grueling training blocks and demanding race days.
This personal experience profoundly shapes her coaching. She understands the mental hurdles, the exhaustion of early morning miles, and the precise nutritional demands required to sustain peak performance without sacrificing health or sanity.
When she's not consulting with clients in the clinic, you'll likely find her on the trails, testing out a new nutrition strategy, or planning her next long-distance event. It's this blend of technical expertise and lived athletic experience that makes her approach uniquely practical and effective.

Take the next step toward sustainable nutrition and better performance.
